Immigration by investment
Migration Through Investment
Migrating permanently is a far greater decision for the applicant and their family. The acquisition of permanent residency through investment often means the start of a new life in a new country. Business, education, and tax residency are just some of the considerations. Of the three programme categories this usually involves a greater application challenge and ultimate decision for the applicant. However many of the residency by investment programmes offer a softer, more gradual route to migrating permanently with a flexible approach to temporary residency leading to permanent residency and potential citizenship.

Immigration by Investment Overview
It is possible to relocate and live full time in all of the countries offering residency by investment and citizenship by investment programmes.
Many traditional immigration routes are only available to those who may have secured employment sponsorship, are investing through a business method, or perhaps have ancestry links to the country. In some cases, applicants must also undergo interviews and language tests and may have to reside full time in the country to retain their residency permit.
Immigrating through a residency by investment or citizenship by investment programme offers a much more flexible solution, without the need to meet such demanding requirements. Most the programmes have low minimum stay requirements, just a few days or weeks per year at most, and once the investor has secured their residency permit, they will enjoy full residency rights including the right to live, work and study in the country and the opportunity to later apply for permanent residency (PR) or citizenship, usually after 5-10 years.
